WHAT THE FORGE STANDS FOR

How This Community Works

Four principles that shape every channel, every reply, and every game.

Quality Over Quantity

Small catalog on purpose. Every game gets the time it needs to burn bright, not just burn.

Listen Louder Than You Talk

Half the good ideas came from the community. Bug reports, balance feedback, and wild suggestions are all welcome.

Zero Tolerance for Trolls

The Discord is moderated daily. Be kind, be patient, or be elsewhere. Newcomers are always welcomed first.

Rest Is a Feature

The dev takes breaks. So should you. No FOMO mechanics, no daily-login pressure — in the games or the community.

QUESTIONS FROM THE ANVIL

Frequently Asked

Are these games really made by one person?
Yes. Design, code, art, sound, writing, marketing, community — all one dev. Some assets (fonts, a few sound effects) are licensed. Everything else is hand-built. The "solo" in "solo indie" is literal.
Are the games free to play?
Every Vulcan Forge game is free-to-play on Roblox. Optional cosmetic and convenience purchases support development — there's no pay-to-win, ever. Ashen Vale is entirely free with no monetization, by design.
How often do games update?
Live games get a major update every 4–8 weeks, with smaller patches in between. Coming-soon titles (like Pyre Racers) get monthly devlog posts. The RSS feed and Discord #announcements channel are the fastest way to know when something drops.
Can I suggest a feature or report a bug?
Absolutely — and please do. The Discord has dedicated #bug-reports and #suggestions channels per game. Bug reports with a repro video get fixed fastest. Good suggestions have literally shaped shipped updates.
Do you take commissions or collaborations?
Not currently. Solo dev means the schedule is full. I occasionally collaborate with composers or voice actors on a per-project basis — those calls go out in the Discord when they happen.
What's the best way to support the forge?
Play the games. Tell a friend. Join the Roblox group (it unlocks cosmetics and funds nothing but good vibes). If you want to go further, optional cosmetic purchases in any live game directly fund the next title. And patience — solo dev is slow by design.
Why "Vulcan Forge"?
Vulcan — the Roman god of the forge, fire, and volcanoes. Forge — because every game is hammered into shape by hand. The name predates the first game by years. It was the studio name before there was a studio.
